Copyedited[edit]

Just a note: this article was complete nonsense a few weeks ago, I created a very brief biography which seems to have been expanded on. 05:10, 6 December 2005 69.234.145.164

I'd really like to see this fleshed out as a full biography. Krumping has become mainstream enough that most people searching on the term will want to know more about the originator of this dance style. I know that's why I came to this page. Sadly, I'm not up to the task. If anyone is, please feel free to write up the article. If you aren't sure how, leave me a note on my talk page and I can help you with the wiki editing so long as you supply me with text and sources. I'd also love to see a couple photos. This is an important dance topic. Folks may think it;'s a joke if they have never seen Clowning or Krumping before ut I assure you it is a very real emerging dance style.Lisapollison 11:18, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'll look into it. Please add four ~'s like this: Lisapollison 22:59, 7 February 2007 (UTC) to the end of all your comments. it adds a date time stamp with your isp addy. I mannualy added the time stamps to the anonymous posts to differentiate them from my own. Also, think about creating a wikipedia Username. it's free and we can always use a good eye for lifted material! Then, when you sign your posts with four ~'s, your user name appears (if you are signed into your account. I would so love to expand the Krumping biographies but without lifting copyrighted material. Clarity[edit]

One part of the article says that krump did not evolve from Clowning, but later it says that it was the word used to describe the battles in Tommy's academy. Can someone clarify?

Copyvio[edit]

I removed the main section of the article because it was a CV (Copyright Violation) from the official site listed in the external links. We now have a long trivia section and a short article.

CV will not be tolerated and will be reverted immediately. We have no choice in this matter, we are bound a copyright law. (The material on websites, even those with out copyright notices, are copyrighted). We can't expect other's to respect Wikipedia's copyrights (covered by GFDL) unless we respect their's. Trivia[edit]

I am removing the unsourced trivia, both the stuff in the section and the stuff above. It makes the article seem like a hoax, and is not sourced, nor does it look like it would be encyclopaedic if it was. It seems like a few of you are really up for making this a proper article, but as important as not committing copyvio is sourcing any info. Section taken out[edit]

I took out the following section from "Mainstream Appearances":

tommy the clown daughter angel leesang who recently goes to kelston intermediate has alot of talent and does alot of krumping she went school with all the other clowns and has met lil mama the hiphop soul.angel has battle other girls her age and had won every battle.Tommy the clown loves his daughter angel

Tommy is not the Father of K.R.U.M.P he created clowning though - good on him : ) its a positive thing![edit]

For the real truth watch "K.R.U.M.P 1.0 Krump basics" Tight Eyez the main leader of K.R.U.M.P tells the truth about how Tommy created clowning but K.R.U.M.P came from Tight Eyez, Big Mijo and J-Smooth when they broke away from clowning to do something way different. Even listen to Tight Eyez song 'The Truth' from the album 'Rude awakening.'
