This article says that the bear-dogs were mustelids. Not so. Mustelids are animals such as weasles, skunks, badgers, otters, ferrets.

It also says that there are only two recognized species. No there are others: T. temerarius, T. rurestris, T. paulus, T. opatus, T. robustus, T. thompsoni, T. confertus, T. kelogi.

Tomarcus V. Tomarctus[edit]
