Latin?[edit]

The title of his piece seems suspect. I've never seen yin or ohm in Latin before.Homagetocatalonia 22:25, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Never mind, it was poorly copied! Much more sense now.Homagetocatalonia 22:29, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

All the tags seem to refer to stuff in the old Britannica article, need they be separately marked? Anmccaff (talk) 03:47, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Tobias Matthew and the Puritans[edit]

In the article History of the Puritans under King James I, it says "In 1607, Archbishop Tobias Matthew raided homes and imprisoned several members of the congregation. The congregation therefore left England in 1609 and emigrated to the Netherlands, settling first in Amsterdam and then in Leiden." Is this is the same Tobias Matthew as the subject of the present article? I suspect it is, but I didn't want to jump to conclusions. This statement makes an important connection between Matthew and the fleeing of the Pilgrims to the Netherlands.
