Merge proposal[edit]

Propose to merge here three articles which at most should be grouped under a single page - 2015 Israeli–Palestinian clashes, List of violent incidents in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, January–June 2015 and List of violent incidents in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, July–December 2015. This is the only case in set of Timeline of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict articles by year, which is separated into three parts. The parts are hugely inflated with information, easily to be tweaked under a single page. Even in Syrian Civil War, which is about 200 times more violent by annual death toll, we do not have three articles per single year.GreyShark (dibra) 08:06, 3 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced[edit]

Here are items removed from this page's sister page 2015–2016 wave of violence in Israeli-Palestinian conflict:

9 October – Teenage Israeli boy stabbed in Jerusalem. 1 injured.
10 October – IDF soldier injured by gunshot in Kiryat Arba.
10 October – Israeli civilian lightly injured after rocks thrown at bus in Jerusalem.
10 October – Israeli civilian lightly injured from rock attack on Route 60 to Jerusalem.
8 November – Israeli injured in stabbing attack near Jerusalem. Assailant shot on site.
25 November – IDF soldier severely wounded in stabbing attack near Hebron. Assailant shot and arrested.
28 November – 6 soldiers injured in car ramming attack near Hebron. Assailant shot.
3 December – Attacker opened fire at Israeli vehicle near Ramallah.

I couldn't find any source for them. If someone can, they can add them to this page. ImTheIP (talk) 22:00, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Undiscussed split[edit]

I revert an undiscussed split of the article into two parts. Should undergo procedure per WP.GreyShark (dibra) 08:13, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Greyshark09, I am contesting the good faith merge of the two parts of the article. The merged article would be far too large, and the largest article on Wikipedia. I would consider a merge if the two parts were substantially reduced in size. Onetwothreeip (talk) 08:49, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the good faith. The main issue with those two articles is that they are mostly WP:NOTNEWS and just list multiple events with minor importance. We generally delete such articles altogether, since we already have Timeline of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and by year segmentation is barely justified in this famous, but essentially low-level conflict. Trying to find the important issues within this 2015 timeline is probably useless, so perhaps deleting those and starting anew would be the best option.GreyShark (dibra) 17:33, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
