Plot[edit]

Could anybody please add more details on the plot. It is highly unlikely for this to be seen internationaly and at the moment the article isn't really very helpfull to give an idea what is so special or even sf specific about this series. This series is about a community, Waimoana, which has an artificial intelligence computer keeping the peace and stability through brain-computer interfaces. What makes it so special is that the social dynamics of people relying on a computer and hidden security services are exposed through the very well written plot. Also, we eventually learn who created the brain-computer technology. The plot moves forward first in a simple direction, initially about what the title implies: "This is Not My Life," so we expect there is just an escape from Waimoana that is to take place. But the plot is far deeper and richer in nature, as the inventor of the technology must take responsibility for his invention, and develop a clearer perspective on what is right and what is wrong, and what are the consequences of his leadership. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.109.116.208 (talk) 00:17, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
