Fair use rationale for Image:TheTickLiveActionBoxArt.jpg[edit]

Image:TheTickLiveActionBoxArt.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

unaired episodes[edit]

There are 12 or 13 episodes (I forget which) on the DVD set, including several unaired ones. Why aren't they listed and described? WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 21:50, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • This is an old comment but I see no one's done anything about it in 4 years. I think back in 2010 only broadcast episodes were allowed in episode lists. However, if anyone has the DVD set and wants to add the other episodes, I believe the current rules allow this. 68.146.52.234 (talk) 12:47, 30 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A bit of googling, and checking Amazon's listing ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tick_(2001_TV_series) ), I can't find mention of any episodes other than the 9 which are currently listed, a contemporaneous page when the first DVD was released also only mentions those 9 episodes http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/7685/tick-the-entire-series-the/ 202.78.155.23 (talk) 11:17, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Add an article for the new Tick series[edit]

Tick 2016 (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/on-demand/2016/08/21/the-tick-amazon-review/), its like an answer to One-Punch Man. I hope it has levels of depth in its absurdity and the characters able to somehow able to function with a sense of borderline parody of silliness and adrenaline pushing. I wish those suits were better, at least with a pre-2005 level of glamour. It all now looks like old power rangers style. Love to see a detailed article on wiki. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.88.210.206 (talk) 04:52, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Air Date Order" vs. "Production Order" ?[edit]

The article mentions that the Mill Creek DVD has the episodes in "Air Date Order" - also used in the article - but , states these are NOT the production order. The problem I see , is that nowhere is the production order given.

If "Production Order" , is the order of the original 2003 "Sony" DVD release , they are: "Pilot" / "The Terror" / "Arthur Interrupted" / "The License" / "Arthur Needs Space" / "Couples" / "The Funeral" / "The Tick vs. Justice" / "The Big Leagues".

It should also be noted , among the commentaries by Barry Sonnenfeld & Ben Edlund , there is no mention of un-aired / un-released episodes. 75.104.163.77 (talk) 17:18, 12 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
