– I think it is better if the franchise page removed the "(franchise)" part. The of the TV show roughly the same as the first film. Ebbedlila (talk) 21:16, 8 February 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. – robertsky (talk) 05:40, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support - pretty common way to handle this, per WP:NCFILM#Media franchise. -- Netoholic @ 08:28, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose because The Santa Clause gets more pageviews than The Santa Clause (franchise), and I see no evidence that the franchise has "greater enduring notability and educational value than any other topic associated with that term". The TV series article is The Santa Clauses, which is plural and makes a difference, like all the varying topics called The American versus the TV series The Americans. With just two articles actually called "The Santa Clause", and nothing compelling to put the franchise over the original film, I don't see a need to change the status quo. • Oppose per Erik.— Crumpled Firecontribs 23:30, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose, per Erik and the most recognizable use of the term (the first film).— Preceding unsigned comment added by Randy Kryn (talkcontribs)
  • Oppose per Erik's statement. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 00:19, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose A good rule of thumb when deciding whether to disambiguate the first film or the franchise is to consider which is more notable. In this case, it's the first film. InfiniteNexus (talk) 01:52, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
