Untitled[edit]

I love the Ripping Friends, me and my friends watch it whenever we are together. We have gone so far as to assign ourselves as each character of the Ripping Friends. We have Craig, Slab, Rip, and of course, myself as Chunk. We also have the Ovulator! haha, good times with the gang.

Episode Description[edit]

Lists are strongly discouraged on Wikipedia. That is, in the articles. If you want the list on Wikipedia, make a separate list, like many television show article have, like M*A*S*H. - A Link to the Past (talk) 21:42, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Since The Ripping Friends is a show that only had one season, I think it would be rather silly to create a 'list of ripping friends episodes' page for 13 titles. Similar shows are without episode listing articles and keep the episode list on the main article. I think this situation warrants that the list stay with the main article. --Thaddius 18:40, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was just reading the episode descriptions, and I've noticed that most of them are wrong. Somehow I've managed to not see all of the episodes, while having seen others 3 or 4 times, but I've corrected the ones I've seen. I propose the following changes:

Frictor A failed experiment to transfer "friction" from the Ripping Friends' feet to Jimmy's fingers results in the creation of Frictor, a monster who can increase or reduce friction at will. The brothers lure him to the moon for a final confrontation.

Rip's Shorts Some evil shorts take control of Jimmy and then Pooperman, causing them to do “evil” things. The brothers mobilize to stop the shorts.

Ovulator The boys discover that there is a shortage of beef and they send Slab out to rectify the situation, as he is the only one not affected by the lack of beef in his system. He soon discovers that a mad chicken, calling himself the Ovulator, is holding cows hostage and forcing them to collect eggs, despite their pleas to be allowed to "give beef", which they claim is their reason for being. Slab defeats the Ovulator by having it rain on him. He claims that when it rains, chickens cannot help but look up and be hypnotized, and he commands the Ovulator to go back to his childhood, which causes him to turn into an egg.

Stinky Butt While there are references throughout the episode to Quebec (Crag making a comment about preventing Quebec from separating from Canada while towing it back into place) and Montreal (the "Montreal style Chunk in beans" that Crag makes to trick Citrocet), Citrocet's nationality is never stated, and at the end of Rip's Shorts Citrocet is shown to be living in the fictional nation of Euroslavia. The description is otherwise accurate. I noticed in the scene where the newly-created "Lord Stinky-Butt the Foul" is talking to his "bottom fairy", immediately after telling him that he has to discover the nature of his "powers" on his own, the fairy appears to say more, as her lips are moving, but there is no dialogue. Anybody have any idea what the dialogue for this scene was originally? Joel Blanchette 18:10, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If calling Citrocet French-Canadian is a misconception, it's a common one.

John K. (who voiced Citrocet) is Canadian (from Ottawa, a bilingual city bordering the province of Quebec) and if you have ever heard a French-Canadian accent you'd know that Citrocet is French-Canadian. It's just like saying that someone sounds like they're from England - it's a distinct accent. I wouldn't go so far as to say that that they're all wrong when you've only seen a few episodes, but you're welcome to edit things. Be bold. --Thaddius (talk) 01:26, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Region 1 release?[edit]

On amazon.com I just found this http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000648ZG which appears to be legitimate. It is region 1 (not region free, which would be sign of bootleg DVDs). So in all appearances it looks official. However according to this Wikipedia article, the only official release of this on DVD is region 4 (Australia). Normally Amazon doesn't sell illegal products such as bootleg DVDs, so I'd be slow to accuse this of being a bootleg copy, but Wikipedia is usually a good source of info on official DVD releases. Anybody else know if there has ever been an official region 1 DVD release of The Ripping Friends? Animedude5555 (talk) 07:08, 16 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
