They were quite successful & typical of their time - & I've created articles of a similar type before, all of which have generated other contributions: Terry Stafford, The String-A-Longs, Ace Cannon... - That was in response to a threat of speedy deletion, which now seems to have been removed Rothorpe 22:50, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Hollywood Vines[edit]
There was a record around the same time called When Johnny Comes Slidin' Home by The Hollywood Vines (sic), also on Capitol, which sounded just like the Piltdown Men, but I can find no trace of it - so I have to mention that here - not there - Rothorpe (talk) 18:08, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
