Note languages?[edit]

I would be helpful to note which language each recording is sung in - perhaps a separate column? Also, if you list the conductors first name first, it will be easy to link those that have articles. Best regards, -- Ssilvers (talk) 06:25, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Almost all the recordings will be in German. The norm is to note any versions not in the original. (The latter task has already been done.) --Kleinzach 02:12, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Now labelled, although the two charts have different formats. I think the "notes" column is more flexible, but there was an edit conflict, and I left the format that you had set in the meantime. The videos specify who played Hanna and Danilo, but the audio recordings do not. I think it should be added, at least where the artists are blue linked. Up to you. Please read what I put in the edit summaries - I've already said the cast needed adding to the audio table. Also a notes column is absolutely fine, no problem. This kind of routine stuff doesn't need a discussion. --Kleinzach 04:42, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

The following sources are missing, to which the notes refer:

  • Blyth, Alan. Opera on CD. London: Kyle Cathie, 1992. ISBN 1856261034
  • March, Ivan (ed). Penguin Guide to Recorded Classical Music 2008. London: Penguin Books, 2007. ISBN 0141033365 Parameter error in {{ISBN}}: checksum
  • Sackville-West, Edward, and Desmond Shawe-Taylor.The Record Guide. London: Collins, 1956. OCLC 500373060

I have tried to add them, but, bafflingly, every time I add them to the Sources section the refs in the section above disappear. I don't know what I'm doing wrong (I don't usually have any such problem). Can anyone add the missing sources without messing up the refs? Tim riley (talk) 13:19, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think I succeeded. Looks OK? -- Ssilvers (talk) 16:50, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
