Maybe this band needs to be under The Material (music) Shufelt (talk) 21:48, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This band is currently on rotation in MTV2 and is San Diego Band. They are in the TOP6 of 4000 bands on the Dew Circuit Breakout. Shufelt (talk) 22:08, 20 November 2007 (UTC) This band has met 4 of the 12 criteria for notabiltuyh music.[reply]

  1. Has won or placed in a major music competition.
  2. Has performed music for a work of media that is notable, e.g. a theme for a network television show, performance in a television show or notable film, inclusion on a compilation album, etc. (But if this is the only claim, it is probably more appropriate to have a mention in the main article and redirect to that page.)
  3. Has been placed in rotation nationally by any major radio network.
  4. Has been the subject of a half hour or longer broadcast across a national radio or TV network.

Article name[edit]

Shouldn't this page and The Material (band) be named differently to avoid confusion? I keep looking for this page, seeing the one with "(band)" in the search suggestions, and going there because usually the one without a qualifier is a disambiguation. ~Bobogoobo (talk) 02:36, 29 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
