Chapter titles? Excerpts?[edit]

Is it possible to include chapter titles and maybe some excerpts? For example I believe there's a chapter on Jews in Europe? I think what they wrote about and what they wrote about is interesting. FloridaArmy (talk) 21:00, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that some chapter titles / excerpts would be good to include in the article, although I'm not sure which quotes specifically would be considered WP:DUE. Happy for some suggestions! EggsAndCakey (talk) 21:17, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I do see you noted Gypsies and Jews. Thanks for starting the entry. Is it appropriate for us to note that the books is in the public domain and available online? FloridaArmy (talk) 21:25, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No worries - this is not my area of expertise, so I am willing to be guided re what should be included in this article. I've no objection to noting that the book are in the public domain, but I wouldn't say that they are available online in Wikipedia prose itself (though I think a link to an online version of the book would be appropriate). I re-added the bits about the sections but I'm not sire where that's from and I don't see it in the book's index? FloridaArmy (talk) 21:26, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not 100% sure that this is accurate, which is why I removed this information in the first place. Personally I would err on the side of caution and not include this for now. EggsAndCakey (talk) 21:29, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Photos[edit]

I believe the books is in the public domain so at least some screenshots of the book would be nice to include? Chapter titles for example could be included this way maybe? Did we note the publisher? FloridaArmy (talk) 21:23, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, some screenshots of the book cover or parts of the book would be a good addition to this article EggsAndCakey (talk) 21:30, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Was this the last book Washington wrote? I see he died in 1915. FloridaArmy (talk) 21:48, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I believe "The Story of Slavery" (1913) was written after this. EggsAndCakey (talk) 21:52, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
