Name

It's officially true that The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea was released 11 years after the original version. --ZachKudrna18@yahoo.com — Preceding undated comment added 02:48, 30 November 2005‎ (UTC)

Details?

This page should have the summary. --shadowkeeper12 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.201.132.111 (talkcontribs) 15:32, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

Yes, it should have more detail... - pinkspikes — Preceding undated comment added 05:50, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Excessive length

The plot summary of this article is excessively detailed, with poorly title sections and an occasionally inappropriate tone. Assuming there are no objections within the next two days, I'm going to start cutting things. Natalie 02:45, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

I agree with you, go ahead.--SUIT 04:57, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

video games

They have a game based on this for PS1 [1], as well as a Game Boy pinball game. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.227.23.177 (talkcontribs) 07:36, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Double-Takes

I added a new section called "Double-Takes", inspired by the section of the same title in the Bambi II page. I thought it'd be interesting to add it in. I hope everyone enjoys it, and I'd love it if more people added to it! :)

Legacy

I just reverted an edit that added the exact same text as "Legacy" section as the one in the The Little Mermaid (1989 film). My reason is because that would be duplication. Annie D (talk) 06:26, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Location

Is it a known fact that Atlantica is off the coast of Iceland? Is the map actually that legible and real? Can a citation please be given. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.197.238.62 (talk) 21:45, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Edit request on 10 October 2013

There should be a note for "Hot, Hot, Hot" (**) stating that it was originally recorded on Sebastian from The Little Mermaid:

and in the soundtrack section as well shouldn't Sebastian: Party Gras! be italics?

Also in the voice cast shouldn't it read
Partly done:. I've italicised Sebastian: Party Gras!. For the others, we need reliable sources. Both the cast section of the presnt article and the whole Sebastian from The Little Mermaid artcle are unsourced, so I have nothing to go on. If you have sources for those, that would help. Thanks. --Stfg (talk) 13:48, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
Really? Sources? How bout liner booklet to soundtrack, the end credits of the film, (should I go on?) for Tara Strong being credited as Tara Charendoff. And please look at page of Sebastian from The Little Mermaid that source enough. I would not say it need edited if i did not know what i was talkin bout or didnt have some type of proof.
Yes, really. An edit request asks an editor with the appropriate rights to make the edit you suggest, and s/he will check what you have provided. But s/he will not go hunting for sources for you. Wikipedia pages are not sources, otherwise we would be circular. Your edit request needs enough detail about the reliable source so that the editor can find and check it. Finally, please note the policy Wikipedia:Civility. Saying "should I go on?" is unacceptably sarcastic. All of us here are volunteers, not servants. --Stfg (talk) 13:56, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
I guess I should have added that the policy on sources is Wikipedia:Verifiability. It explains why we need sources, and why we don't take people's word for anything, even if they are the world's top expert. It's nothing personal. The Wikipedia page is no help. We can't use a Wikipedia page as a source, and as I said in my first reply, the section dealing with this is unreferenced. An online reference would be good, if there is one. Otherwise, I expect the liner booklet would be accepted, especially if you can give a product number for the CD. The important thing is that the source give both names -- Tara Strong and Tara Charendoff. If it's an off-line source, I won't be able to verify it, but someone else will surely be along soon enough to take care of it. --Stfg
Definitely credited as Tara Charendoff in the end credits for the movie. Also noted as such on IMDB. 218.212.228.231 (talk) 03:22, 15 December 2013 (UTC)

Twelve years

The plot summary mentions this time lapse, giving indication to Melody's age, and by extension, Ariel's (16 in the original film, so at least 28 here if this is true) but no reference is listed. Could a citation be provided on the article for this? For example, does a character refer to the number of years that passed? Is Melody called twelve? Is there an on-screen caption saying 12 years later?

I looked up a copy of the script and supposedly there is this exchange:

Louis, Melody's not in here, is she?
No, Your Highness, but her birthday cake is. Twelve petite candles.

So I guess Louis' description would be enough, but am curious if there is anything else. 184.146.6.191 (talk) 22:12, 14 December 2015 (UTC)

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. DRAGON BOOSTER 09:08, 20 December 2016 (UTC).
