Fair use rationale for Image:GirlfromUncle1.jpg[edit]

Image:GirlfromUncle1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:33, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why is it only five "original novels"? what about "The Mother Muffin Affair" with Robert Vaughn and Boris Karloff, "The Dog Gone Affair", "The Drublegratz Affair"... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.179.10.218 (talk) 18:45, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Quote: The character name "April Dancer" was suggested by James Bond creator Ian Fleming who was a consultant in the creation of the parent program before his death.

Ouch! Of course his consultation was "before his death." That should truly go without saying. The writer probably meant to suggest "shortly before his death." WHPratt (talk) 14:51, 19 February 2009 (UTC)WHPratt[reply]

Categories[edit]

I have removed this article from Category:Television series set in the 1960s as previously did with The Man from U.N.C.L.E article. As noted on its talk page (and on the category's own page) that category is only for TV shows that are set in the 1960s which were not made during the decade (eg something made in the 2010s, but set in the 1960s or a 1950s series set in the then future 1960s). As the Girl from Uncle was made in the 1960s it is not appropriate for it to be in this category. Dunarc (talk) 15:56, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
