Outdated[edit]

@ iPadPerson, livelikemusic How is the article outdated? ilovechristianmusic (Talk to Me!) 17:36, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Article does not include significant coverage in third-party sourcing concerning the background, development, recording etc. of the album. A one to two sentence of whom she worked with does not represent up-to-date information, therefore, the article is outdated. Nothing about its promotion, singles, etc. livelikemusic my talk page! 22:58, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

livelikemusic Hmm... I see. There isn't really much info on anything such as promotion, singles, etc. Other than the fact that she released "OctaHate", the song's release date, and that it peaked at number 27 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart. ilovechristianmusic (Talk to Me!) 23:07, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm merely explaining why the tag was added to the article. It is up to you or another editor to fix it and expand upon the article. And no need to ping me, I have this page on my watchlist since I'm involved in two discussions on the talk page. livelikemusic my talk page! 23:14, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Edits[edit]

Here we go again... *sigh*

Ok, the stating of "The Fool" - Standard version etc. is unnecessary. You mention looking at articles before imposing my own beliefs. I'm gonna try to not take that as a threat. You should look at articles also, due to most of them not having that template. The iTunes link was fine as it was, but I understand you wanting to direct it back to iTunes Store. ilovechristianmusic (Talk to Me!) 17:36, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It is not unnecessary, or else other articles would not use the same setup. And nothing about what I stated was a threat, as those are against Wikipedia policy. And no, the iTunes link was not fine, as the album is not for streaming on iTunes (which is the media player), it is available on the iTunes Store (which is the digital media platform the album is hosted for listening on). It is like comparing Spotify to platforms; Spotify is to the iTunes Store like what iTunes is what you would listen to Spotify on (personal computer, cellular device, etc.). A lot of good article qualifiers use the headings much more than others that do not. And edit-warring the situation is not going to provide any kind of support to the situation. As such, I am going to call several other editors to the discussion, such as @IPadPerson, Status, IndianBio, and SNUGGUMS: who could also provide some insight into this. Also, stating "here we go again" implies some level of personal feelings towards an editor, which is also against Wikipedia policy.livelikemusic my talk page! 23:12, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Including "standard edition" is common practice for album articles when there are multiple editions of tracklists. Snuggums (talk / edits) 23:23, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No, I didn't state "here we go again" as personal feelings toward you, but the fact that whatever article I seem to edit, you revert my edits, I revert back, you revert back, the cycle continues, then I get tired, and stop editing. ilovechristianmusic (Talk to Me!) 23:28, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@SNUGGUMS: Yes, but the question is should the album title be included (as in this edit) or excluded as in the current edit of the article? livelikemusic my talk page! 23:32, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
My mistake. It should be included. Snuggums (talk / edits) 23:34, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@SNUGGUMS: So then, the articles that do not have that template should have that template? ilovechristianmusic (Talk to Me!) 23:38, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
When there are multiple track lists, yes. Snuggums (talk / edits) 00:08, 13 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I edited a few albums and used this format, but another editor referenced me to MOS:Headings, and it doesn't look like that album titles should be repeated in the tracklisting. What are you all's comments on this? (Sorry for being agitated earlier. I needed to break from Wiki until I cooled off. Again, I apologize for the incident.) Ilovechristianmusic (talk) 18:05, 19 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
MOS:Headings deals with headings of sections, not tables, etc. And looking at the user's edit history, they never said it did actually apply. And wait more than a few hours before changing when you ping editors; people aren't on Wikipedia 24/7. And again, you do not need to ping me, I have the talk page on my Watchlist. livelikemusic my talk page! 01:14, 20 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@livelikemusic Thanks for clearing up my mis-understanding. That makes a ton more sense. No ping/tag - √ Got it. Ilovechristianmusic (talk) 01:55, 20 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

URL[edit]

Ryn had stated via a Facebook Q&A that "Pierre" or "Promises" would be released as a second single, but there are no references other than Facebook to support this. Is a social media reference appropriate? ilovechristianmusic (Talk to Me!) 18:47, 23 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No, it is not, especially given that it requires confirmation from a record label; we primarily wait for third-party sourcing, which is more reliable. livelikemusic my talk page! 23:43, 23 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
