Clarify Versions when Citing Reviews[edit]

Because the work exists in three versions that are dramaturgically, and perhaps in some ways musically, distinct, it would be very useful and more accurate to tie the critical response to the appropriate version.

As well, it would be very informative to specify clearly how the versions are different in terms of musical language. Penderecki's use of microtonal masses and glissandi moderated through his career. Since the versions are separated by three years and another three years, one might expect some alteration in how the composer presents the vocal lines and the orchestral role. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tgkohn (talk • contribs) 04:35, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Philips Classics sound files copyright question[edit]

From the file labels they appear to be from a Phillips Classics recording. As such, they are undoubtedly in copyright and can only be used if a fair use rationale is provided along with full details of the source and the copyright holder. Dcubero, under fair use:

"Music clips may be used to identify a musical style, group, or iconic piece of music when accompanied by appropriate sourced commentary and attributed to the copyright holder. Samples should generally not be longer than 30 seconds or 10% of the length of the original song, whichever is shorter."
