Two questions about the band members...[edit]

I just started this article today. I followed the band from the start of their time with Tooth & Nail until their breakup, but I'm not sure about these two things about their members:

  1. What did Gerrit Lovesick play when he was with the Deadlines? With The Killaways he was the vocalist and guitarist, but a Google query for his name didn't say what he played with the Deadlines.
  2. Was Shorty Valentine the alias of Joshua Griffith?

I'd heard that the Deadlines were discovered by Tooth and Nail at Cornerstone. But if they had a fanbase in Washington state, they were probably discovered locally by T&N. Hmm. Jpers36 15:17, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gerrit Lovesick played rhythm guitar with the Killaways and the same for the Deadlines.

Shorty Valentine was the longtime alias of the one and only Joshua Griffith.

Wow. Just, Wow[edit]

I don't believe for a second that this article was written by a "fan". I believe it was written by one of the longer lasting members, most likely the lead singer. I'd also like to note that this article lacks any resembelance of a professional tone or the typical band templates. Now, before I nominate this article for Deletion, I'll ask: Has anyone even heard of these guys? Aside from the band member whoc reated the article.

I created the article and wrote most of the history. I've never been in the band, nor do I know any of the band members. However, Shaun Sundholm did do a rewrite of the article several months ago, which I am reworking to make it more encyclopedic. --Idont Havaname (Talk) 18:37, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've heard of this band, own both of their albums, and was very pleased when I discovered this article on wikipedia. I had considered starting this band's article as a stub. Danielbot 07:24, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have. I'm a big fan. Had the Death and Life of.. (which is sheer genius) and turned on them for Fashion Over Function (absolute dreck). I was glad to see a little something on them on here. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.188.53.245 (talk) 07:09, 10 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Thomas Hitler?[edit]

Just to let you know, I just rolled back 4 or 5 edits by an anon because the last edit (which showed up on my watchlist) showed them changing Thomas Demise's name to Thomas Hitler. Was there ever anyone named Kristopher in the band? --Idont Havaname (Talk) 02:55, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
