David Lee Roth Band[edit]

this not at all accurate!

DLR never called his band this title nor referred to it as the article claims was used as early as 1986 until the formation, release and tour of the album entitled "David Lee Roth band".

He had always referred to his band as only the artist David Lee Roth. This is simply not true and misleading and the entire article needs to be scraped or merged with the DLR article.

Furthermore, the article reads like a bad 16 year old fan tribute and smacks of bias towards the artist. It badly needs to be cleaned up.

I brought back the original article, but I changed some things around so it reads as his backing band, and made sure to note that they're not credited on any of Roth's albums outside of 1998's DLR Band. If we have pages for the Elton John Band and Billy Joel Band, then we can certainly have a page for David Lee Roth Band, but not one that makes it seem they are an actual band and not just a backing band (who were only credited as a full band for that aforementioned album).
