Just deleted the tags I previously addressed because the user who added them has no professional affiliation with Wikipedia (when I thought he/she did, so even though I improved the article on many of the points raised by the tags, I thought I should not delete them without approval. However, this no longer looks to be the case). I respect that he/she was trying to help. After looking at the user's talk page, it seems they also tried for speedy deletion of a related article while not first looking at the proper guidelines for doing so, so I'm not sure the tags were properly assigned either. Hi, I've just finished editing a bunch of things in this article. I believe I've addressed a few of the issues tagged at the top. This includes:

The problem with the conflict of interest. I edited out a few words and sentences that made it look like a band member may have written part of the article. Especially the part about them having more than 10 songs - the only people who would know that would be the band and close friends, so I got rid of it.

The problem with a lack of third-party publications. Not sure why this tag was up in the first place. The Vancouver Sun is referenced twice, and that is a very high up source, certainly not connected to the band. The North Shore News is another newspaper on the North Shore in the Lower Mainland I believe. And I can only assume that they have no association with a band either.

The problem with self-published sources. I got rid of their Twitter update and replaced it with the Canadian Music Week page that was created for the band by Canadian Music Week. There are still two self-published references, one by their Twitter page, and one by their Facebook page. However, these are both important sources, especially the Facebook one because it was an update from the band to the public about the album specifically, not about their biography.

The tags I haven't addressed are that the fact that it still needs to be expanded (which I am going to attempt to do soon), and the fact that it needs more sources. However, the latter issue is likely due to the information being obtained by going to shows or seeing it on their Twitter page, which is not a reliable source, so unfortunately, until the band is reunited (which is apparently in December), there will be no new interviews done.

Based on Wikipedia's standards, I can see why there were problems; however, I believe I have fixed the majority of them. Reccomend this article not be deleted. Please delete the tags I have addressed, though. I'd rather not do it myself for fear that I violate some kind of terms, being that I only recently joined Wikipedia.

Notability[edit]

New, more notable information has now been added, such as the fact that the band recently won Fan Favourite in a radio contest called the Shore 104.3 FM Sounds of Summer Song Search (please check Google) in their city and have now been accepted to play at the Canadian Music Week in Toronto in March. Most notable is their winning of the Fan Favourite Award, and the reference for this information is a Vancouver Sun article, in which the band was not interviewed. The band's involvement with the competition was also a subject of another separate Vancouver Sun article that is also referenced. I added these references in order to comply with the Notability Criteria for musicians and ensembles, criterion #1. I added the fact that the band won fan favourite in the Shore 104's competition, which involves hundreds of bands, in order to comply with the Notability Criteria for musicians and ensembles, criterion #9.

Also, I added the fact that their newest single, "Tiny Fires", has now been placed on a high rotation with the Shore 104.3 in Vancouver, and the band has also been put in a light rotation with CBC Radio, which is a national radio station. I added these facts in order to meet the Notability Criteria for musicians and ensembles, criterion #11.

Hopefully now this article is considered suitable since it meets three of the Notability Criteria for Musicians and Ensembles specified here.
