Sinatra album[edit]

If it was on "Frank Sinatra Remembers The Movies", the question, "what movie was he remembering with That Old Black Magic???" is begged. Anyone know? I tried some Google to no avail. 68.123.47.153 21:11, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It has been in several movies through the years:

  • Here Come the Waves (1944)
  • Radio Stars on Parade (1945)
  • All About Eve (1950)
  • Dark City (1950)
  • Meet Danny Wilson (1952)
  • Bus Stop (1956)
  • The Nutty Professor (1963)

There are many other movies in later years, but it is doubtful Sinatra would be "remembering" one of them.

The "reprint" CD's title is Frank Sinatra Remembers The Movies (1943–1946) so, if it is a real re-release, Here Come the Waves or Radio Stars on Parade would have to be the movie in question. Delfeye 19:41, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

vocals on Dizzy Gilespie's version[edit]

who sang That old Black Magic on Dizzy Gillespie's version from Dizzier and Dizzier? He is the same singer for You Go to My Head as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.48.206.58 (talk) 15:08, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am sure this is not proper, however, I am SHOCKED at such a complete lack of knowledge about Old Back Magic. Check your Wikipedia entry for "BILLY DANIELS" or "Mr. Black Magic". He made the song famous as his version sold records in the millions! Billy also holds records for the Longest engagements at venues such as The Cotton Club and the London Palladium. Billy Daniels IS Old Black Magic! And I knew him well. Sorry, don't know how to type a tilde on the laptop. I am Hawkswill1@gmail.com or Hawkswill@gmail.com Keith Payne AH.......there it is Hawkswill (talk) 20:33, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
