Incorrect information[edit]

"In the film, Ross and Hope's characters are a married couple who come to the brink of divorce. Near the film's end they poignantly sing one of the many versions of this song, recalling the ups and downs of their relationship. (Then they decide to stick together.)"

This is incorrect. The two characters are already divorced. In the story, the character played by Bob Hope had married and divorced two other ladies and was currently engaged to the character played by Dorthy Lamour. At the end of the movie, the characters played by Hope and Ross decide to remarry with Bob's proposal hinted at at the very end of the movie. Signature song ?[edit]

How come absolutely no mention of Bob Hope using this as one of his Signature Songs (if not his only Signature Song)?

Or at least a mention of when he signed off on his specials with the phrase, a slight variation of the song title, "Thanks for the Memories."

Then there's the somewhat recent biography program that, I believe, was titled "Thanks for the Memories" in which the song was used.

Just wondering. 2600:8800:784:8F00:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 08:30, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Marilyn Monroe Song"[edit]

Why is this categorized as a "Marilyn Monroe Song" if she is not mentioned even once throughout the whole article? --217.239.3.216 (talk) 16:20, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
