Hi there! Over the course of a few months, I have spent hours gathering substantial, notable and verifiable information and formatted them in an encyclopaedic and concise format for those interested in the topic of 'Thalassophobia'. If you have any suggestions, comments or opinions, please do not hesitate to write here on the article's talk page. I hope you enjoy reading the article as much as I enjoyed compiling it. Thanks for expanding the page, you've done a good job. I cleaned up the introduction a bit, and removed the pictures again. Please note the topic of this talk section — adding pictures of large bodies of water does not meaningfully add to the page. Axentoke (talk) 02:39, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Does adding historical depictions of it and or other closely related fears add to the page paintings of oceans with sea monsters or photos of containing sharks or whales? I feel as if some photo is appropriate and I feel a summary image of the general fear should fit. 좀비 브렌다 (talk) 16:01, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The image really isn't necessary[edit]

I don't know what it is with Wikipedia and having a thing for putting trigger pictures on phobia pages, but really? Can we at least make the photo collapsible so it doesn't just show up right in your face the second you open the page? Is the point to get them started on exposure therapy or something?
