In reality, testing mom proposes to damage and circumvent the validity and test security of our gold standard cognitive tests. These tests have much more serious purposes than admittance to gt programs- to determine eligibility for supports due to intellectual or learning disabities, for example. The " practice effects" advertised compromises our ability to measure cognitive abilities, apparently to ensure that rather than gaining insight into a child's true, raw cognitive strengths and weaknesses, we need to abuse the test to artificially elevate the child's appearance of giftedness. This business is unethical and abusive, and this article fails to acknowledge that. The entire point of these tests is to measure unpracticed abilities, so to try to study for them is to truly miss the point if their value. 70.117.185.27 (talk) 16:48, 18 November 2022 (UTC)
