Let's not Merge[edit]

Because both properties are each individually on the National Register of Historic Places, I think that it's best to have separate pages. It would be awkward having both pictures and both infoboxes on a single page. Thanks, Denverjeffrey (talk) 21:20, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Having said that 14 years ago, the articles are now merged (in 2020). The use of {{Infobox religious building}} is encouraged and then add {{infobox NRHP}} for each heritage-listed building, makes distinction both visually and through the use of text and associated images, very clear on each designation. No awkwardness at all! Rangasyd (talk) 05:51, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temple Emanuel (Denver)Temple Emanuel (Grape Street, Denver) – This was previously moved from the disambiguated title on the basis that the article is about congregation, not building. But whether it's about the building or the congregation, the title is still ambiguous, because the former buildings also use the title Temple Emanuel (Temple Emanuel (Pearl Street, Denver) and Temple Emanuel (Curtis Street, Denver, Colorado)). Since the congregation does in fact meet on Grape Street, I think the old title should still be used. kennethaw88talk 20:29, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Disagree. The buildings use the name "Temple Emanuel" with an additional qualifier for the address, while this article is about the congregation and needs no qualifier. Debresser (talk) 15:15, 13 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge the articles about the Curtis Street and Pearl Street buildings into this article under its current title. It will not be too long and will have info about the congregation and its three historic homes in one article for the convenience of readers. Station1 (talk) 02:54, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • This is a sensible solution. There's a lot of overlap between the buildings' histories, and certainly the individual articles are fairly short. kennethaw88talk 16:33, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
