Are these figures right?[edit]

I'm a bit sceptical about some of the values listed here for trace nutrients of the tayberry. I mean 10E-29 grams of alpha-carotene per 100 grams CAN'T be right, can it? I can't remember much about the Avogadro Constant, and that kind of stuff, but 10E-29 grams per 100 grams means that we're talking in the order of single molecules of alpha-carotene per hundred grams of tayberry....surely well beyond the limits of detection? 82.3.144.140 (talk) 17:16, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I fully agree with this. A beta carotene molecule weights more than 1E-22 grams, so several tonnes of tayberry would be needed to get a SINGLE molecule. 76.68.252.206 (talk) 22:07, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
