al-Miqranah or al-Mighranah?[edit]

Davidbena it is spelt المقرانة not المغرانة. There is a dot that differs between the Qaf and Ghain when it's in the middle of the word. The Qaf has two dots while Ghain has one dot. Can you recheck how many dots you see on the map?--SharabSalam (talk) 01:55, 26 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

My map showed one dot. Perhaps, though, there is a different version in other maps. I'll check other maps.Davidbena (talk) 02:22, 26 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It seems that you're right, at least in the spelling on the Arabic-language Wikipedia: Check here.Davidbena (talk) 02:41, 26 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I will self-revert since I am no expert on this name.Davidbena (talk) 02:43, 26 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I am not an expert either. al-Maghranah doesn't appear in the Google search while al-Miqranah appears in Google search. That is enough reason to confirm that the right name is al-Miqranah. FYI, al-Maghranah (المغرانة) is a North African tribe. SharabSalam (talk) 15:48, 26 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
