repetitious and slightly pov[edit]

it seems like there are two articles here one on top of the other. why is the story of rabban gamliel repeated twice for example, or the custom of no fastenings and no pockets? additionally lines such as "no pockets because you cant take it with you could serve to be more encyclopedic. g.j.g (talk) 01:31, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I removed the second account, as it is less encyclopedic, and a portion reads like an advertisement. Boneyard90 (talk) 12:30, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Copy and paste[edit]

This article seems to be copied and pasted from http://jhom.com/topics/color/shrouds.htm, which is in turn an excerpt from Saying Kaddish: How to Comfort the Dying, Bury the Dead and Mourn as a Jew, by Anita Diamant. History section is inconsistent[edit]

The first paragraph of this section asserts that the garment is always hand made. The last paragraph of this section says the price varies on whether it is hand sewn. One of these is probably not true, since they are a contradiction. 107.115.5.113 (talk) 08:46, 8 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
