First UK "theme night"[edit]

I've deleted this claim, as it is demonstrably false. BBC2's A Perfect Christmas in December 1991 featured five hours of vintage festive programming (complete programmes and compilations) in one evening. A Night in With Alan Bennett in early 1992 was similar, with new links by the writer himself. It could also be argued that Channel 4's TV Heaven in Feb-Apr 1992 was a series of theme nights (each theme being a specific year), which of course was undoubtedly the trigger to BBC2 doing TV Hell'.
