O'Malley's guiding light[edit]

When I took the "Cape Canaveral: Then and Now" tour yesterday, the guide talked about O'Malley's guiding light. He said that O'Malley complained that it was hard to find the entrance to Pad 14 at night - there were no lights on that road. They put in a light for him at the turn-off to Pad 14 and left it on all of the time. They turned it off when he died. That would be good to be in the article, but it needs a better reference than just the spoken word of the tour guide. Bubba73 (You talkin' to me?), 03:43, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
