Swensons definately warrants having an entry on Wikipedia. It has a rich history, is a nationally recognized, and is an Akron area institution. Plus, it's unique burgers are something worthy of a Food Network segment. If other local food spots from the East and West coasts are on Wikipedia , why not one from Ohio? But, seriously....the authors of this particular page could have done better than this. This reads like an ad. Somebody clean this up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.43.215.218 (talk) 20:09, 27 August 2009‎

What make the burgers at Swensons so sweet ? brown sugar in the meat maybe ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.74.101.158 (talk) 00:28, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

BBYO[edit]

@Mark612: please explain how any of this is encyclopedic or even relevant to the general reader's understanding of the fast food chain. Ibadibam (talk) 19:04, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Ibadibam: The BBYO Chapter of Cleveland uses Swensons as one of it's biggest mascots. Swensons itself knows this. It's a fun and interesting fact about the seemingly normal hamburger chain.
@Mark612: you need to prove it if you want it on Wikipedia. Right now there's nothing to demonstrate this isn't all a big joke. If this is actually a noteworthy fact about the company, surely there would be coverage in a local paper or book, but I've been unable to locate anything supporting it, and it doesn't help that the supposed sources you've provided are barely related. I'm removing the content until you can come up with something actually appropriate for an encyclopedia. Ibadibam (talk) 01:02, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
