No info on production?[edit]

I'm surprised there's no info in this article on the production of the song or even where it was recorded. This is a standard in any Wikipedia article for an all-time classic. -Rolypolyman (talk) 03:08, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Alternate Versions?[edit]

Untitled[edit]

Besides the acoustic version, I believe there are two different versions of this song. My brother played me a version that is different from the one I hear on the radio. Their voices are not as strong and the instruments are more in focus. Did they record different versions? Has this song appeared on any albums other than Songs For Jane?KannD86 (talk) 22:32, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I remember I used to have a different mix of "Songs About Jane" that definitely had an alternate version of Sunday Morning, but I don't have a source for this...sorry173.48.62.136 (talk) 03:54, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I know for sure that there are two versions since I've heard both. One is the CD version where the song has more of a jazz feeling and the piano takes a more important role than just harmonic support in the Music Video version. Also there were brass instruments(I think trumpet, saxophone and more). It wouldn't be hard for one who has heard both to find out that the radio(music video) version is made after the CD version, the vocals are asKannD said a less "strong" vocal. I don't know why there are two versions and there aren't any sources to justify the existence of another version.Yutongl (talk) 02:48, 18 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the alternate version you are referencing is the "demo" version. It has a more jazz feel and includes a saxaphone. Also the intro does not include a strong drum beat but instead starts with a solo piano. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snNhFQEFzKM

Offensive Element?[edit]

Everyone seems to overlook an offensive element to video for Sunday Morning. The karaoke machine that all the people are sing songs to has the image of half naked child in the background singing along the words of the song. Perhaps the directory were trying to was trying to create the image of innocent little moppet. But, the imagery, instead, is very disturbing and I'm very surprised no one has made any notice of this.

There's nothing offensive about it. You barely see any more than the kid's face and shoulders, and you don't even know if the kid is a boy or a girl. By the way, you need to start signing your posts here, because as it is, I'm wondering if you're serious or just a troll. Mellophonius (talk) 04:28, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Song Didn't Peak at #14[edit]

Hasn't anyone noticed the inaccurate information in the opening paragraph? This song peaked at #31. Shouldn't it be changed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.10.92.186 (talk) 10:57, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
