Radical $Uicide made it to number 85 on the Billboard Top Current Albums chart, which is basically the Billboard 200 chart except if catalog albums were excluded. The peak should be listed in the discography.

Suicideboys$uicideboy$MOS:TM says: When a name is almost never written except in a particular stylized form, use that form on Wikipedia: Deadmau5, 3M, 2 Fast 2 Furious

Sources that spell the name with $'s:

Sources that don't:

  • Suicideboys: [39], [40], [41], [42], [43],[44], [45], [46], [47]
  • The Suicide Boys: [48]
  • Suicide Boys: [49] WanderingWanda (talk) 03:15, 22 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose a serious source is not going to follow this showy stylism. In ictu oculi (talk) 22:06, 22 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • Well, would you consider The New York Times a serious source? They haven't covered this group, but did put Ke$ha in headlines back when Kesha was putting a dollar sign in her name. I just think we should try and follow the sources. In many cases, that means nixing the stylization (most movie reviews of Alien 3 did not render the name as ALIEN³ so neither do we, but most sources do say Deadmau5 so we do to. ...Note that not all sources say Deadmau5, incidentally, a few say Deadmaus, but we go with the stylization anyway.) WanderingWanda (talk) 22:19, 22 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
      • Personally, I would consider The New York Times as a serious source, but if they have not discussed this group, then I would also consider them an irrelevant serious source. —BarrelProof (talk) 22:50, 26 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose this rediculous stylism, we don't follow Ke$ha, A$AP Rocky, Ty Dolla $ign or Travis $cott, why should we follow $uicideboy$? Lazz_R 22:32, 22 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose – Not necessary. Sources provided above show that it is not 100% used. StaticVapor message me! 19:19, 23 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support – Discussed it on WP:DISCORD, the artists themselves use $uicideboy$ as an artist name, and they are well known with the dollar signs around their names. –apap04 talk | contributions 22:28, 28 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose attention grabbing name styling. It is not consistent with the formality of a reference work title. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 04:34, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose as unduly decorative, per Lazz_R and SmokeyJoe. —BarrelProof (talk) 05:17, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Add Ghostemane to Associated Acts[edit]

Ghostemane needs to be added to associated acts. He made a song called "Seppuku" with them.

Members's FULL Names[edit]

Ruby Da Cherry's full name is Aristos Norman Petou. $lick's is Scott Anthony Arceneaux, Jr. This should be added, and perhaps individual articles for each of them.

Nicknames[edit]

Petrou and Arceneaux both have many pseudonyms they use, and this article only lists "Ruby Da Cherry" (for Petrou) and "Scrim" (for Arceneaux).

There are also, for Petrou: $uicide Leopard (or $now Leopard), Lord of Loneliness, Yung Plague, SLAMDUNKASAUR, 7th Ward Lord, 7th Ward Dragon, 7th Ward Charizard, James Spleen, Yung Mutt, Lil Uzi, Oddy Nuff,

AND MANY MORE

and, for Arceneaux: $lick $loth, $crim (or DJ $crim), Yung $carecrow, Anthony Mars, Yung Heath Legder (reference to the Joker actor), $uicide Christ, Pontius Pilate (reference to the ancient governor of Judea), Lil Half Cut, $witchblade $crim, Tony wit da Tommy,

AND MANY MORE

Side Projects[edit]

It says that $moke a $ack, the first collaboration between Petrou and Arceneaux was on Pluto in 2014. While this is true, the same track was also on $crim's "Patron Saint of Everything Totally Fucked", which came out in 2013. That same mixtape included a song called Barbie Doll which also saw the calibration of both members when they were solo artists. It would probably be more accurate to mention both tracks appearance on Patron Saint of Everything Totally Fucked as that came earlier than Pluto. It would also be appropriate to mention "A Man Rose From The Dead", a recent $crim solo project in 2020.

Couldn't suicideboys be considered as memphis rap due to them remixing many three 6 mafia and other memphis rap artists? 2600:1700:B2D1:D700:1CDC:42CB:E532:76C1 (talk) 07:18, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@2600:1700:B2D1:D700:1CDC:42CB:E532:76C1 they have contributed to the development of phonk by making Memphis rap inspired music, both in terms of utilizing triplet flows and also production techniques like sequencing and pitching up or down cowbells 86.3.124.119 (talk) 19:54, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
