Subterranea?[edit]

I have never herd of this term before and it does not appear to be in the dictionary. Is it a real word? A better title would be Subterranean. Also, not all features underground are part of geography. What is underground is mostly rock, which is a subject of geology. So even the current title Subterranea (geography) is misleading. Volcanic pipes are geological, not geographical. Volcanoguy 11:40, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

@Volcanoguy: I agree. This isn't geography, at least not implicitly. Should be moved to geology. Not sure about Subterranea as a name. Though, I feel it's likely redundant to cave/cavern. Anything with a cavity below the surface that is natural, is a cave/cavern, so long as it can permit a human.
