Striper (band)?

In Maine (U.S.), Striper is referred to the Striped Bass. Does that count?--Blackmage337 01:36, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think there is need to break this page up into (at least) two distinctly different meanings of the term:

Stripes in the meaning described in the introduction to this article
Stripes meaning comics stripes found in newpapers (such as Garfield)

I am not quite certain, but there might also be a third meaning of the word in english, something like a row or series of something, maybe over time in rapid succession. A meaning like this certainly exists in danish, which is my native language.

A new disambiguation page named Stripe is created contating these two options:

- - - Stripe (meaning)
    - Stripe (words containing Stripe)

or something like that.
