V

What does the V in the series title actually stand for? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.110.11.45 (talk) 16:26, 18 September 2012 (UTC)

"V' stands for"Victory", but I don't have any references here. 179.210.211.208 (talk) 05:04, 22 June 2014 (UTC)

No, "V" does not stand for "Victory" it stands for "Voyage". The director clarified that in an interview. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.40.137.197 (talk) 06:13, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

Hadou

  • Does anybody know who first mentioned "Hadou" to Ryu... I'm not sure if it was Sagat or Yo Sen Kai? Until I can dig out my copy, I'll be forced to wait for a rerun. Sweetfreek 03:56, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
    • Ki of the Riding Wave was mentioned by Yo Sen Kai. Hadou was mention by Sagat.
      • Partially right. Yo Sen Kai mentions Ki and Hadouko. When he puts out the candle with his Ki, he calls this exercise Hadouko. Anyway, I don't see why this would be important to this article.--87.172.169.21 19:39, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

"First Words"

This section of each characters' profile is totally unneeded and non-encyclopediac. Not to mention most of them are not well written. The S 03:36, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Well I only got the idea from this article --Kid Sonic 02:43, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
    • I agree to The S. Just because other articles are mutated into fansites doesn't mean that they show wikipedia standards. Personally, I hate those sections because they hold no real information, but spoil unnecessarily. Same goes for extensive storyline descriptions--87.172.169.21 19:36, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

"Spelling of Shoryuuken"

The Japanese word for dragon is ryū (ryuu). Wikipedia article located at Ryuu. The current spelling in the article is "Shoryuken," however IMHO I believe it should be either "Shoryūken" (notice the "ū") or "Shoryuuken." --Jason Lawrence Justice (talk) 16:21, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Sf2v.jpg

Image:Sf2v.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Suggested Split

I think this article should be split into two lists, like List of Characters in Street Fighter II V and List of Episodes in Street Fighter II V. Opinions?

•Good idea; the characters do deserve their own page! Citations should also be added at some point. It's now on my to do list! PlethoraMyriad (talk) 07:14, 17 May 2021 (UTC)

Filipino Actors?

Greetings! I just popped in doing some research on one of this show's voice actors, and I noticed that several Filipino actors and icons were added to this article who appear to have not voiced any of the characters from the three official dubs- such as Bong Revilla and Alien Dizon. I assume they might be slated to be starring in some sort of live action adaptation of Street Fighter, but they none the less have nothing to do with this particular animated series. I'll correct it when I get the chance, if no one else beats me to the punch that is! PlethoraMyriad (talk) 07:09, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
