Blatant advertisement[edit]

This whole article needs rewritten, and I am blanking the gallery due to the fact that it, in particular, is a bold-faced advertisement with no regard for neutrality. 76.232.79.64 (talk) 08:57, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

For whom? Not for the Segway PT which doesn't give users physical exercise. Not for the inventor either, the wiki with his name belongs to another person. So far the article doesn't mention a manufacturer. One has the impression of custom-built StreetStriders. The lead paragraph has some features of an invention disclosure, so any machinist might assemble one in his shop.Rgdboer (talk) 01:18, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Suspicious advertising in this article[edit]

This article will be watched as I have found obvious places where the word 'advertising' was used which implied that the prescribed product rather than being recorded for reference was instead being used to fulfil the promotion and advertising thereof. I have removed such content, as large as it is, and will readily remove any future content that appears to be advertising the product. I have looked back at this article's history and found a certain user has been consistently updating this article effortlessly. I will continue updating this article as required and ensure no advertising takes place. This is an encyclopedia. It is not a scope for advertising.
