Restore edit[edit]

I have restored my edits today after someone blanked them. The existing reference (U.S. Geological Survey Geographic Names Information System: Stone House, West Virginia[1]) indicates that this site has been "Inundated by Tygart Lake". 2601:142:100:2C:D1A2:2639:81EF:9AC5 (talk) 16:13, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and thanks for being a nuisance, knucklehead.... 2601:142:100:2C:D1A2:2639:81EF:9AC5 (talk) 16:16, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi I am the knucklehead, I failed to read your mind and know that was the resource you used for Stonehouse. Failing my powers of ESP and palnara spirit travel, you could shake the dice and indicate the data you found with another REFERENCE...Guessing is fun, and being name called because of that is a BLAST..yeah buddy, but in the spirit of good faith, I will assume that you are aware I cant read minds because surely if I could do that I would be aching to edit on WikipediaCoal town guy (talk) 19:56, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You wanted me to add the existing ref a second time? Or did you just not check it the first time? My point is: nothing needed to be added. The info was all there. And no need for you to blank my edits. (BTW, another approach would have been for you to simply click on the long/lat link & SEE that the village is now underwater!) Why assume bad faith? Why aggressively revert? (A third approach would have been to message me as to whether I had a ref, rather than just negating my contribution.) See now, no need for "mind reading". Just common sense. 2601:142:100:2C:D1A2:2639:81EF:9AC5 (talk) 20:53, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I am the one who created the article,I DO NOT OWN IT. To have the sack to tell me I am a nuisance is at best annoying. The nuisance is your attitude that you are right and we have to catch up to you. ...so I wanted it to be accurate as far as a ref, thats all. Its called a ref name, you give your ref a name if you must use it more than once. You know, when the GNIS detail page, has a descriptor, saying it was wiped out by the Tygart.......Comes in handy. GNIS states hey here is a place, its called this, its has geo coordinates. THEN you see the detail page, OH LOOK it got wiped out by a river. WOW, a cool detail, WHY NOT use a ref name, NOT the same ref twice. AND YES I have worked with GNIS as part of Wikipedia...and had places added to the map in West Virginia. the articles in question belongs to everyone, if you want to own something go buy it. You own SQUAT here sir. Reading the stub that we are calling an article has no indication in the least that the GNIS detail page states that. ERGO why I said I cant guess. AND BY THE WAY when you put a link on your talk page, shake the dice again and have the link actually work and take you to this talk page, you know the one you were talking about, NOT A BAD LINK...I could not give a hoot in hell about your contribution..Honest.
