My compliments to whomever wrote the basic article but there's a lot of room for improvement. My proposals: 1. Removing the constipation, diarrhea and lactose intolerance sections as none of them is a disease of the stomach. 2. The Crohn's disease section must be re-written as Crohn's may affect the stomach but it's mainly a lower intestine disease. 3. The section on gastritis will be much expanded, maybe renamed "Peptic disease" with references to the duodenal diseases article and a gastric ulcer subsection.

As this will be my first wiki work (I just created the account) and it should be slow going I'll more than welcome any help and tips. I tried to talk to Mr. Bisanz but his personal page is locked, maybe if he sees this we will be able to discuss and improve this pageFabio.pnz (talk) 19:43, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unreliable source[edit]

Moved this from article. This purported medical information must be verified with a credible source (medical journal, proceeding, etc).

"It is also said that a very effective way to prevent stomach ulcer is to drink 6 glasses of water everyday on empty stomach early morning. This technique was developed by a Japanese philosopher and is said to have helped a lot of people across the globe. [1][unreliable source?]"
