Horde

To clear up the issue of whether or not Stinkor was originally designed as a Horde member- the statement on He-man.org that Stinkor was presented to Filmation for inclusion on the "Princess of Power" series is a mistake on the part of the he-man.org administrators, and is highly misleading. This 'fact' appears merely in a 'Did you know' which flashes at random across the top of the site's opening page- not only is it not an article in its own right, but it also makes no reference to him being a Horde member (various MOTU characters were showcased in the POP series after the MOTU cartoon was cancelled, but even if this was the case with Stinkor, it does not mean he was designed as a Horde member- this procedure was merely used to give existing MOTU toys cartoon exposure, as in the case of Tung Lashor and Rattlor, designed as Snake Men but used as Horde members in the cartoon).

Therefore, not only is there no evidence that Stinkor was designed as a Horde member, but I also believe it to be a mistake on he-man.org's part that he was presented for inclusion in the POP series rather than MOTU. I was informed a long time ago by James Eatock (also known as 'Busta Toons'), the MOTU historian with many contacts among the show's writers and staff, that he was presented for inclusion in the MOTU series at the same time as Roboto, Spikor and other characters from the wave Stinkor was released in. Mr. Eatock was apparently given this information by Robert Lamb, Filmation writer and storyboard artist. Eatock himself has written an article on he-man.org which implies Stinkor was presented for the MOTU series and makes no mention of either POP or the Horde. Also, since the MOTU series was still in production at the time Stinkor's figure hit the market, it would make more sense to assume he would have been presented to Filmation at this time, especially since all other figures from his wave made an appearance in the cartoon. I think this is firm evidence, therefore, that the statement on he-man.org's front page is a mistake by an administrator who became confused over the fact that many later MOTU figures made their appearances in POP rather than MOTU, and mistakenly thought this was the case with Stinkor. Whatever the case, there has definitely been no official statement that Stinkor was designed as a Horde member, and it would therefore be inaccurate to state this as a fact on his Wikipedia profile. 16:44, 17 January 2006‎ User:Seinfreak37

It features a quote from Robert Lamb, POP writer, that mentions that Stinkor was introduced initially as a Horde member. Not sure how this fits in with the information you have, but it is a quote from a POP writer. Does user Mosquitor want to chime in? Because as it stands now, I have a source that mentions Stinkor as originally being created as a member of the Horde for the POP line. After one week and hearing nothing, I am changing article back. A reference link was provided that stated Stinkor was created as a member of the Horde for She-Ra. Please do not change otherwise without providing a reference link. - Seinfreak37 15:40, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
