This article should not be speedy deleted as lacking sufficient context to identify its subject because this prolific author is notable - she is a Newbery Award Honor winner. This article should a) request of its author necessary biographical details and/or b) go to the Wikipedia:Article Rescue Squadron but certainly not get speedied. I guess you didn't notice that there is only 2 references, the article is mostly about Stephanie's books, and the sentences that do mention her are not notable. If this should be kept, it should have a major cleanup.Mike289(click on 9)! 18:20, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Authors papers are on file at a university. thats the end of this notability discussion.(these comments should have been added to the deletion discussion referenced at the top of this page). I have added some references and external links. of course the article is mostly about her books, she is notable as an author. once notability for an author is established, minor biographical information such as city of birth, place of education, current home, brief family mention (if sourced from an author bio) are entirely appropriate, esp. when adding the author to various categories. cleanup is entirely separate from deletion.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 04:19, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know how to read these LCCat records reliably nor how we should list the works anyway. Note that LC credits all three primarily to Steve Liebman (librettist?).
