Under Disscussion For Biography of Living Persons Guidlines[edit]

I would like to point out that the album itself, "Testimony", is not a living person, therefore it should not be merged into Stella Parton, but perhaps linked. If this was to be merged, I would like to see Dolly Parton's albums merged into her article. Same thing right?

Absolutely not the same thing. Dolly is a way better known artist and much more notable, enough that all of her albums are independently notable. Stella is several notches lower than Dolly. I'm merging In the Spirit (album) not to Stella's page, but to Stella Parton discography. I look at the other albums when I get to them. Do you think this album should be merged to Stella Parton discography article rather than the main article (Stella Parton)? Gsingh (talk) 04:25, 25 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Intro paragraph[edit]

I added a reference to her being Dolly's younger sister in the intro paragraph. The fact that she is the younger sibling to one of the most widely known performers in country music warrants mentioning, and also seems in keeping with the pages of other siblings of more famous entertainers (e.g. Crystal Gayle, Louise Mandrell, etc.). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.174.110.14 (talk) 21:14, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
