Alumni[edit]

I have removed Paul Comiskey (Musician) from the list of notable alumni as the criteria for this list is alumni who have made a national or international impact.

I reverted one of your additions. We cannot include people on this (or any alumni) list without a valid reference demonstrating the person's importance and that they attended this school. It's fine if the reference is on the person's WP article if they have one. This is a rule to which there are no exceptions. Qwyrxian (talk) 02:45, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I totally agree with you - someone else added in two individuals (i.e. Comiskey and Reid) and I have been unable to find external objective references to either of them. We must stick to the criteria that for a person to be considered notable they must be shown to have been important at a national or international level etc. Thank you. I've just removed 4 more, including ones you added. None of the references (that I could read) had any evidence that the person is an alumni of this school. As I said above, both importance and alumni status must be verified. Qwyrxian (talk) 02:34, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think you have been overly zealous here as I had personally contacted all of the others on the list to ask them to confirm that they attended the College. I also added references pertaining to their notability. Ollamhnua (talk) 13:37, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
