Age[edit]

The old toys listed his age as 32, which would mean he lived for an amazing 17 years before being mutated. Considering the average life span of a rat/wolf is.. like.. 2 years.. That's kinda out there. Are there any other age listings from other canon? (I'm thinking that might have referred to the one from the toon who was previously human, except then that'd make him sort of -young- A. for being 17 when he was mutated and B. for being so old in mind and spirit later on)

He's listed as 30 years old in the arcade game, I believe. So that refers to his human form. As for the toy line, I can't be sure. TMNT Donatello 05:13, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nagi is the brother of Oroku Saki, AKA The Shredder

More editing[edit]

This article could use some rearranging and rephrasing. For example, it starts off stating that Splinter has three origin stories and then describes many more than three. And there is a lot of repetition between the stories. Maybe instead of listing the story for each production in turn, the parts of the story that are common to them all could be told and then the differences described. I don't know enough about the turtles to make a major revision without introducing errors; anyone else interested? Leschnei (talk) 02:00, 9 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Homage to Stick[edit]

There's a sourced mention on the Stick (comics) article that Splinter is an homage to that character. Definitely seems like something that should also be mentioned here, but I can't see a decent place to put it. Not only is Stick the inspiration for Splinter, but it is also inferred that the radioactive substance that mutates the turtles is the same substance that blinds Matt Murdoch and mutates him into Daredevil (comics). 81.236.174.197 (talk) 19:15, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
