Taxonomy and Phylogeny[edit]

If Sphacodontoidea includes the family sphenacodontidae and is the next more inclusive group wouldn't be a superfamily. And couldn't Sphenacodontia (in the taxobox) be seen as an infraorder by virtue of the Eupelycosauria having to be a suborder. That is unless precluded by cladistic inclusiveness.
