City?[edit]

By definition, is a place where there lives less than 50 people called a city? // habj 20:15, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The term here is to reference its official status as chartered by the state government, not to refer to its population size.--Paul McDonald (talk) 03:52, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Claim to Fame[edit]

A claim to fame for Speed, KS was in 2006 and 2008 when Mattel's Hot Wheels' brand hosted the Need for Speed festivals in Speed. The 2006 festival was attended by over 10,000 festival goers. The 2008 festival was also well attended despite a 4" rain that took place the night before. That festival was part of Hot Wheel's 40th Anniversary Road Trip tour which included stops in El Seguendo, CA, Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, Indianapolis, Detroit, and Watkins Glen, NY. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chairzz (talkcontribs) 20:39, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
