Deleted comment re Birkenhead[edit]

I deleted the following:

"This medal was notably awarded to the officers and men of HMS Birkenhead. On 26 February 1852, during the course of the Third Kaffir/Eighth Frontier War, this ship struck rocks. Within 25 minutes, the ship broke up and sank. Of the 638 persons on board, there were only 193 survivors."

There is no evidence, that I am aware of, that the Medal was awarded to the victims of the Birkenhead. To be sure, the Medal was awarded to survivors who subsequently saw service on the Eastern Frontier. Possibly, it was awarded (posthumously) to Birkenhead victims who had previously seen service on the Eastern Frontier.

I also added the book by Everson to the bibliography.

I have further amended the Birkenhead paragraph: As this article is about the campaign medal, I have added that some survivors received the medal (confirmed by British Battles and Medals), and removed the women and children first and the captain goes down with the ship references as these have no relevance to the medal.
