Untitled[edit]

The current content of this article is redundant with Wachovia#SouthTrust purchase. No significant update has occurred in over a year. This article is unlikely to ever rise above stub status.

Therefore, I'm redirecting this to Wachovia.

New SouthTrust Ownership[edit]

A new bank is opening with the SouthTrust name and we would like to make edits to this page. Would any relevant parties please make any notes here?

Revise article structure[edit]

Need to move information on existing SouthTrust Bank to top of article and include in summary. Currently when someone googles SouthTrust Bank, the information on the old SouthTrust appears https://www.google.com/search?q=southtrust+bank&rlz=1C1CAFC_enUS889US889&oq=&aqs=chrome.0.69i59i450l8.1685801j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8. Modification of article title[edit]

Need to revise existing SouthTrust article to add dates of operation: SouthTrust (1887-2005). Current SouthTrust Bank will now have separate article to minimize continued confusion between the two organizations. Longhorn77079 (talk) 21:42, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
