xref[edit]

This article should probably link to Analemma calendar but I'm having a tought time coming up with concise wording to do so. For now I've added a see also, although it really ought to be addressed in the body. --Belg4mit 23:57, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Weblink[edit]

  • Jewish Calendar I've added the link, which I hold to be interesting. Since I do not understand the text, I cannot insert some text into the article.

Tibetan calendar[edit]

The Tibetan calendar is a lunar one, too. [1].

Wikipedia says, it is a lunisolar calendar.

Solar Earth Calendar[edit]

Not all solar calendars are about earth. There are 8 planets revolving around the sun. Therefore:

  • Solar Mercury Calendar
  • Solar Venus Calendar
  • Solar Earth Calendar
  • Solar Mars Calendar
  • Solar Jupiter Calendar
  • Solar Saturn Calendar
  • Solar Uranus Calendar
  • Solar Neptune Calendar

You can make "solar" calendar for other objects revolving around the sun:

  • Solar Pluto Calendar
  • Solar Eris Calendar

Article needs a fix.--144.122.104.211 (talk) 17:18, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Are you suggesting to change the title article to "Solar Earth Calendar?" Czar1934 (talk) 02:49, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a "Solilunar" counter-part to "Lunisolar calendar"?[edit]

Lunar calendars that have a "year" concept which approximates the solar cycle are called lunisolar. Well, some solar calendars (such as the Gregorian calendar) has a "month" concept which approximates the lunar cycle. Is there a similar "soli-lunar" concept to distinguish from "pure" solar calendars? -50.232.73.154 (talk) 20:50, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
