Awful, terrible, bad, bad, bad article

I cannot tell from spending five minutes scanning the article whether "socioeconomic status" is a vague term that may be used to mean different things by different researchers — even modern researchers — or if instead it is a term with a standardized meaning, at least in certain fields.

This is a grievous omission.Daqu (talk) 03:22, 24 September 2014 (UTC)

Non-Neutral Point of View

Weak entry on an important topic

This is a critical concept in many disciplines. Anyone familiar with the *history* of this idea? Major *criticisms* and alternative approaches to conceptualizing social and economic status? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1017:B827:B34D:41E:41A1:C8EF:B14E (talk) 12:52, 16 September 2016 (UTC)

Awkard reading

The opening paragraphs need to be revised for missing words and awkward transitions. 64.121.77.18 (talk) 19:07, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
