The result of the debate was no consensus. Also, since there is a great amount of content at Jealousy, this may work better as a merge request. -- tariqabjotu (joturner) 13:49, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Don't move - Jealousy is a large enough topic for several articles, as evidenced by the fact that several Wikipedia articles now exist on the topic of jealousy.
    • This is not an article move. This is a new article devoted specifically to the topic of jealousy in the sociological and anthropological sciences.
    • The main article for Jealousy now contains a brief introduction to the topic, then contains a brief introduction to the various related articles about jealousy. This helps readers easily find the information they want. It also allows editors to write new articles on jealousy and easily integrate them into the main page. This approach has been used successfully with the Monogamy article, the Attachment theory article, and most recently the Open marriage article.
    • The topic of jealousy in sociology (and anthropology) can more than fill a 32 kb article, which is the recommended size of a Wikipedia article. Keeping it a separate article will allow room for it to expand through improvements. Kelly 15:07, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
